Terms and General Use Welcome to Pixalong Social Media! By using Pixalong web app you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in Pixalong are protected by applicable copyright and trade mark law. This document applies to all our other sites and apps (served within Tillclix/Domaxapps domain) as well. Pixalong connects users via time and place, enabling sharing and interactions based on outdoor activities. Users must provide accurate information, to ensure a seamless experience. 2. Photo Uploads 2.1 Collected data By uploading photos, you agree that they may be tagged with geolocation metadata and/or visible on the map based on their approximate location (municipality, village, town, or city). Precise geolocation point will not be shared with other users. Geolocation data, like latitude, longitude, country/city name etc. is auto-filled from photo or browser during uploads, if available. Your precise point will not be public. However, the general place name (country, city and/or similar) might be saved and visible to other users any way, for better user engagement. Photo uploaded from a non-registered/non-logged visitor might be auto-saved (along with region name) to evaluate engagements. These might show up in Pixalong gallery under username "Explorer". 2.2 Data precision Geolocation data we collect this way may not always be accurate, as being dependent on multiple factors: 3rd party tools we use and device from which you are uploading. When uploading from mobile devices the geolocation detection is usually very precise. It uses devices GPS(if turned on) or your mobile network. When uploading from your desktop computer or laptop, the auto-detected geolocation data will not be your true location but will rather point a currently active server point in your country. In this case Pixalong may contain a utility that allows you to edit photo location after upload. 3. Privacy We respect your privacy. Geolocation data is used solely for the purpose of grouping photos by location and connecting users. Your photos and geolocation will only be visible to other users as part of the mapped experience, without exposing exact coordinates. At any time, you can mark your post as private (invisible to other users) or detach geo-point from it (remove it from maps) on post-editing page. 4. User Responsibilities Users must only upload photos they own or have rights to share. Content must not violate any local, national, or international laws. 5. Interaction Rules Be respectful and courteous in all interactions. Misuse of the platform for inappropriate behavior may result in account suspension or termination. 6. Liability Pixalong is not responsible for any harm or disputes arising from user interactions or shared content. 7. Amendments We reserve the right to update these terms as needed. Users will be notified of significant changes. 8. Disclaimer The materials on Pixalong are provided "as is". Pixalong makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, Pixalong does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its websites or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site. 9. Limitations In no event shall Pixalong or its associates be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Pixalong website, even if Pixalong or a Pixalong authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Pixalong does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current. Pixalong may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice. Pixalong does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials. 11. Links Pixalong has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its websites and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Pixalong of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk. 12. Our other apps By registering your user profile, it might also be visible on our other apps (served within Tillclix/Domaxapps domain), enabling you to use them with the same user profile and credentials. 13. User Uploaded Content To use this site you have to be at least 16-18 years of age. It is also not allowed to post photos focused on other persons, specially if they are less than 16-18 years old. You are not allowed to post nude, pornographic, rude, disrespectful, aggressive or threatening looking content. You are not allowed to post any advertisement, spammy, political nor propaganda content. Also, you are not allowed to post contents and photos that can reveal your or anyone's house/home address. It is extremely unsafe to put that kind of contents on the internet. Use of any compromising contents is at the user's own risk and you can expect that such contents will be deleted/hidden by Pixalong moderators without notification. In preventing undesirable content, user posts and interactions may undergo evaluation phase at any time, until they may become publicly visible. On Pixalong website you are allowed to post strictly outdoor or public place photos and contents, in accordance to your own and anyone else's maximum safety. It is strictly forbidden to use this site for compromising anyone's privacy or safety. Upload (at least several) photos that clearly show your face looking at the camera, to clearly show that your profile is genuine and make us feel more confident that you are not misusing Pixalong. By uploading a file or other content or by making a comment, you represent and warrant to us that (1) doing so does not violate or infringe anyone else's rights and safety; and (2) you created the file or other content you are uploading, or otherwise have sufficient intellectual property rights to upload the material consistent with these terms. With regard to any file or content you upload to the public portions of our site, you grant Pixalong a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable worldwide license to use and to display online and in Pixalong website. To the extent that you delete any such file or content from the public portions of our site, the license you grant to Pixalong pursuant to the preceding sentence will automatically terminate. Use of any compromising contents is at the user's own risk and you can expect that such contents will be deleted by Pixalong moderators without notification. Pixalong provides 2 levels of privacy for uploaded photos. Users private photos (registered users can mark any post as private) are not searchable within Pixalong, and can't be viewed by anyone other than the user who uploaded the photo/album. Each image still might be accessible via its own URL. Public photos/albums will be publicly viewable if featured by our editors and may be indexed by search engines. Whether public or private, you can delete your uploaded photos or albums and all information will be removed permanently from the website. 14. Google Compliance Notice Pixalong is committed to complying with all applicable policies required by Google Ads, including but not limited to those concerning user data, privacy, and site behavior. Our platform does not attempt to circumvent Google's systems, and we take the following measures to ensure full compliance: We clearly disclose our use of cookies, location services, and data collection. We never display users' precise GPS coordinates publicly. Precise location data is collected only when explicitly granted via browser permissions or when the user voluntarily selects the "Show on Map" option. All uploaded content is moderated to prevent abuse, inappropriate behavior, or misleading content. Redirects between URLs (e.g., from www.pixalong.com to pixalong.com) are implemented in a technically correct and transparent manner.
